2. Explore Different Versions

There isn’t just one way to play. Depending on your audience, you can choose from:

  • Main Version: The standard English Climate and Health edition
  • Translated Versions: Climate and Health decks available in other languages to support global communities. (coming mid February 2026)
  • Generic Deck: A larger, more flexible set of cards for broader foresight applications beyond specific climate/health themes.
  • Other Versions: that get created by others in future.

*For the non-standard version please join our FCF whatsapp game community for information.

3. Adapting & Expanding the Game

The game is built to be modular. You can tailor the experience by adding specific card types:

  • “Transmission” Cards: Use these to introduce emerging issues, signals, or trends relevant to your specific field.
  • “Future Shaping” Cards (Morphology): Add these to define the parameters or “shapes” of the future you are exploring.
  • Editable Templates: We provide a template (including blank cards on the PDF) that allows you to easily modify or create your own cards to fit your unique context.
  • Want to add a whole new translation into another language? We are keen to support new language versions.
